Jeff Rona is an accomplished and award-winning composer for film, TV, and video games, as well as a recording artist and music producer. He started as an in-demand studio musician, arranger, sound designer, synthesist, and music programmer working in Los Angeles and New York. After working with a number of top record producers, he focused his efforts on film music where he has gone on to score hundreds of films, documentaries, and episodic TV projects. In addition to film and television work, he has written music for multiple AAA video games including God of War III, Far Cry 4, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Transformers, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, Quantaar, ExoPrimal, and many others. -
Chris Lakey

With over 20 years experience in music publishing, Chris Lakey serves as the SVP of Creative Synch for Kobalt Music Publishing. Lakey works closely with film studios, streaming platforms, trailer houses, video game companies, music supervisors, directors and editors to further exploit Kobalt compositions for synchronization opportunities. He also oversees the Los Angeles based creative synchronization team in all of their efforts to further exploit Kobalt’s expansive catalog across all media. He has made Kobalt music contributions to some of the highest-grossing films, award-winning programs and culture-defining shows throughout his tenure.

Beggars GroupMiwa Okumura heads up the Licensing team for the Beggars Group of labels which includes 4AD, Matador, Rough Trade Records, XL Recordings, and Young. Her 30 years of music industry expertise and long tenure at Beggars has made her an invaluable musical resource. She has been responsible for hundreds of syncs for the label’s 40 years of releases and enjoys working closely with music supervisors across multiple platforms.

Gary Calamar

Gary Calamar, president of Go Music, is a five time Grammy-nominated producer and music supervisor who has overseen the music on some of the most acclaimed and popular shows on television including “True Blood”, “Six Feet Under”, “Dexter”, “Entourage”, "Weeds", “House”, “Man In The High Castle” and “Titans”. Gary is currently working on“3 Body Problem” (Netflix) and “Somebody Somewhere” (HBO). Gary was twice awarded the Guild Of Music Supervisor Award for Best Music Supervision for Television. Gary has also music supervised the films, “Uncle Frank”, “Slums Of Beverly Hills”, “Carrie Pilby”, “I Love You Philip Morris” and “Varsity Blues” for which he received a gold record for the soundtrack.
Gary is the longtime host of a hit radio show every Sunday night on 885 The SoCal Sound and as a songwriter, Gary co-wrote the song “Let’s Boot and Rally” performed by Iggy Pop and Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast) which was named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of Iggy’s all-time best collaborations.

Tricia Halloran
Music Supervisor KCRW
Tricia Halloran has been curating, DJing, and obsessing over indie pop and rock since 1992, when she started hosting Brave New World at influential Los Angeles public radio station KCRW. She's currently working with KCRW on a new podcast about the '80s independent music scene, and working as a music supervisor on various film projects as well as television shows Dead To Me and New Amsterdam. She believes that indie music is art, songs are healing, and a well-written lyric can move mountains.

Dan Wilcox

For years, Dan Wilcox was Music Director at Ten Music, a company that found commercial licensing opportunities for indie artists. He now works freelance as a music supervisor for various film, TV and ad projects. Since 2007, Dan has hosted a weekend music program on KCRW. He hosts a musical piñata of sounds perfect for a night of partying, including new discoveries, remixes and rarities, b-sides and lost classics. In addition, he has deejayed at many of the top nightspots in Los Angeles, including The Standard Hotel, Bardot, Zanzibar, The Crocker Club and a residency at The Doheny, as well as various events at the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles Film Festival and the Independent Spirit Awards.
